In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll show you just how fun and easy terrarium building can be! The cost of the activity is € 65 per person and includes an engaging presentation and plenty of hands-on experience, you’ll learn the basics and choose from a variety of plants, mosses, and decorations to create your very own unique terrarium. Join us to craft a personalised mini ecosystem that you can take home with you.

What you will get

    Begin with an engaging presentation where you'll learn what a terrarium is, explore the different types, and understand the materials used in terrarium building. We’ll cover all the essential methods and techniques to give you a solid foundation before starting your own creation.

    Dive into the hands-on part of the workshop where all necessary materials will be provided. You'll receive a glass container, various types of soil and substrates, activated charcoal for drainage, and decorative pebbles. Choose from a variety of plants, moss, and decorations to make your terrarium uniquely yours.

    Throughout the workshop, you'll receive step-by-step instructions and demonstrations to guide you along the way. We’ll be right there to offer individual assistance with plant selection and placement, making sure your terrarium turns out both beautiful and healthy.

    By the end of the workshop, you'll have created your own custom-made terrarium to take home. You'll also receive a handy care guide packed with tips on maintaining your terrarium healthy and happy.

  • The workshop is just 65 € per person and includes everything you need to create your beautiful terrarium. You'll receive all the materials, along with a bag to carry your creation home!

  • Our workshops are exclusively conducted at a location provided by the customer. This can be an office, a rented space, or a private home with enough room to comfortably perform the workshop. Currently, we do not have a dedicated space for organizing workshops, but we plan to offer this option in the future.

  • The workshop lasts about 2 hours.

  • Currently, all workshops are conducted in English. However, we are planning to offer workshops in Dutch in the near future.

  • Absolutely! Our workshops are designed especially for people approaching the world of terrariums for the first time.

  • You will learn the basics of terrariums, the types of terrariums, the materials used, and essential methods and techniques for building and maintaining a terrarium.

  • All materials to create a closed terrarium will be provided, including:

    * A glass container with cover

    * Various types of soil and substrates

    * Terrarium building tools

    * Two small plants per person

    * Moss and decorative rocks (If you have some small decorative element that you would like to be included in your creation, feel free to bring it)

  • Our workshops can be tailored to accommodate any group size. We welcome individual participants, so the workshop can take place for just one person. For groups larger than 15 participants, please contact us to discuss your options and ensure we can provide the best experience for everyone involved.
